A new stand for welding posts with bases

A new stand for welding posts with bases for our new project is being built in Delta Automation. The posts will serve as a skeleton for the construction of welding booths, which we deal with. We need to produce about 200 such posts. The construction of this station will enable us to speed up the works, perform them in the best possible quality and introduce another automatic operation in our plant.

The position visible in the film is the skeleton for now, construction has started this Monday and the effects are already visible to the naked eye. An automatic cage will be created, fully fenced and secured on two platforms. The system is based on an ABB IRB1600 robot and a Fronius TP500 power source.

Purchase of the Trumpf TC L4030 laser

We comprehensively manufacture our machines. We have the shortest time from design to execution, because we are not fully dependent on our sub-suppliers. That is why the company has recently built two welding stations, one for manual welding and the other for automatic welding (robot + welding machine).

Advanced system for processing composites for Geberit

Delta Automation Sp. z o.o. is pleased to present our new turnkey application for machining bathtubs and shower trays, designed and built by our team. The end customer is Geberit Sp. z o.o.

Mechanical design and drawings in Inventor
Machine construction
e-Plan electrical project
Simulation in MotoSim
Programming of the Yaskawa robot
Selection of tools and parameters for machining process
Programming of the Siemens PLC controller and the safety system
Purchases and assembly of components

Our co-operators were responsible for the implementation of mechanical components according to our project (laser cutting, bending, welding, powder coating) and machine relocation. Machine was built in our headquarters. After that, machine was transferred to the customer.

In addition, machine has been equipped by Delta Automation in:

Additional fences
Dust extraction system from the tools and cab extraction system
Rolling conveyors
CCTV inside the cab and in the operator’s area

All of this makes, that the built machine is a complete tool for machining of customer products.

The machine obviously meets all safety standards. This is confirmed by “CE” marking and signing the final acceptance by the customer.

The project involves reintegration of used Fanuc robots and integration of Fanuc robots based on the latest versions of controllers. The spectrum of robots used in the construction of this line is full. In addition, the robots are configured for two standards, Legacy and Global. The scope of commissioning also includes the integration of workstations with welding lasers. Delta Automation is responsible for the following areas: Framing 1 (initially) Framing 2, wheel house, front unit.

New project for Mercedes/Daimler S-class, Type V, W, Z (Maybach)

The scope of delivery work includes: network configuration, robot commissioning and online programming technology, cycle time optimization, quality and production support. As part of the project, our crew was trained at the KUKA Augsburg headquarters on the Integra 6 programming standard. All of our programmers have successfully completed the training.

The scope of work covered by the project is: offline / online robots programming, PLC programming offline / online, virtual commissioning, spot welding technology – process. The sum of all robots is 125 and PLCs are 20. The project is carried out within the DMA Automation Group. We are responsible for the following areas: BVTS, BVVS, U1G1, RHIR / RHIL, USAL / USAL, USTW. Estimated project implementation time is 2 years.

Line reintegration after changes aimed at increasing the production volume achieved by adding new IRB6700 robots to the existing line in spot welding, roller hemming and handling operations. The project includes the resumption of production on the existing elements of the line (side door) and the addition of operations on new robots whose final effect is the launch of the line in automatic mode.
