At the fair we will present:

• Robotised application – as an example of application of a robot for machining composite materials.
• 3D printing technologies – application in industry.
• TCP Searcher – Scanning a robot tool – allows for correction of process points due to the wear and tear of the tool – improving quality, saving time.

Example of application of ABB 1600 M-2004 industrial robot with mounted Teknomotor 3140 spindle for machining composite parts used for example in aviation.

In the cell there is also a tool length checker (TCP CHECK). The detail located in the cell is a fragment of the nacelle cover of the engine of a Polish-made aircraft – EM-11 Orka. The detail is made of carbon fibre produced in “Prepreg” technology. Industrial robots are used in the plastics industry, in machining processes of composite materials – among others, cutting off excesses from forming processes, making holes, surface planning.

Our co-operators were responsible for the implementation of mechanical components according to our project (laser cutting, bending, welding, powder coating) and machine relocation. Machine was built in our headquarters. After that, machine was transferred to the customer.

In addition, machine has been equipped by Delta Automation in:

• Additional fences
• Dust extraction system from the tools and cab extraction system
• Rolling conveyors
• CCTV inside the cab and in the operator’s area

All of this makes, that the built machine is a complete tool for machining of customer products.

The machine obviously meets all safety standards. This is confirmed by “CE” marking and signing the final acceptance by the customer.

Integration of industrial robot with eviXscan 3D scanner enables the contactless quality control of a manufactured element as well as automated, accurate scanning of objects for the purposes of rapid prototyping.

In addition, the scanner itself as a device has the ability to make measurements along with the development of measurement reports. Therefore, in cooperation with engineers from Evatronix and Delta Automation, a control and measurement system based on industrial robots was created. You can read more about this on our website.

The process of so-called reverse engineering enables, among others:

• Construction or adaptation of the machine for the product.
• Machine regeneration.
• Regeneration of instruments that have changed over time or have been damaged or destroyed. For example, they can be: robot grippers, welding instruments, tools, etc.
• Acquiring fully functional 3D documentation of a product that has evolved during the production process.
• Design time reduction.

Our specialists already provide 3D scanning services along with the processing of the received model in Geomagic Design X software.

The investment was carried out for the construction project of a machining station (machine) for bathtubs and shower trays for our client, Geberit.
